Who We
ARE

This camp is run by the Envision Conservatory for the Humanities, whose mission is to develop the foundational skills for advanced scholarship in the humanities. The focus is on mastery of research methodology and introductory consideration of the four core humanities disciplines: philosophy, theology, civics, and ethics. Students are expected to master research techniques and methods while demonstrating learning through thematic projects

In this interdisciplinary, collaborative process, the fundamental purpose of the Conservatory is to produce students with the skills necessary for a 21st-century world citizen. Students preparing for careers in research, writing, the arts, education, business, law, government, and even STEM will be best prepared through this Conservatory.

What We
DO

In Humanicamp, directed by the CCA Humanities Conservatory, students will learn the communication and research skills required to excel in 21st-century education. Guided by teachers experienced in independent research, students will broaden their intellectual horizons with topics in civics, ethics, literature, history, and culture, learning from voices and perspectives not found in traditional curricula.

They will also enrich their academic experience with explorations of team building, critical thinking, and creativity. Through this project-based curriculum, students can engage in a collaborative and constructive learning environment.
